Secretary

Adam Key - Secretary

Adam grew up in Horsham from 1966. Even when living away for study or work,
Horsham was his home from home. He returned permanently to Horsham District
with his family in 2006 and they have been living back in Horsham town since 2021.

Adam is a qualified non-practising barrister and spent many years working in legal
services administration and marketing in the City of London. He is now delighted to
work as a state school teacher across a range of subjects – Classics, Politics,
English and History – as well as supporting sixth-formers in their university
applications. He is also his school’s National Education Union Rep, leading the local
‘Pay Up’ campaign in 2022-23 which persuaded the government to accept in full the
independent review body’s recommendations for teacher pay.

Adam has been a Labour supporter all his voting life and an active member in
Horsham District since 2019. He is now proud and excited to be Secretary of
Horsham CLP, working alongside fellow Horsham Labour members. Our party has
strong ambitions for the coming general election as we close the gap on the
incumbent Conservatives. Adam is determined to give a voice to Horsham voters’
needs and priorities in the cause of social justice, efficient public services and a
decent standard of living.
