Horsham Community Support Group Update

On the 17th March we called for support from our local membership. We set up a network of more than 30 members from across the district in response to the spread of the corona virus. We have had a busy but rewarding week. Gez, Jill and Chris are coordinating our response. We have collected and encouraged donations to the food banks run across our district by Horsham Matters – the response to this has been awesome, we are keeping in regular contact with our members, supporting a retirement housing development, working with our amazing friends from the Akash to deliver meals to those in need across our community, keeping in contact with the NHS staff at Horsham hospital and collecting prescriptions and following up on all kinds of requests from those who are self- isolating.
