We’re proud to announce Labour’s candidates for Colgate & Rusper in the local elections taking place on 2nd May. Take a look at what our candidates stand for and please contact us if you have any issues or concerns in the area, here. John Ivatts has lived in the district for many years – he is a retired education professional who has campaigned in Horsham for more than 40-years, supporting comprehensive education. If elected, John will stand up for local services and he will respond well to casework taken up. He is a passionate internationalist and is well known in the district. Donald Mahon is a local campaigner and is a member of CAMRA in the district. He is a project manager, working on large scale construction projects and has done so for many years. If elected, he will stand up for Colgate & Rusper and campaign for more police on our streets and for increased levels of affordable housing, to ensure local people have somewhere decent to live in our villages and town.

If you are voting in Colgate & Rusper on May 2nd, you have two votes. Make sure you use both votes for your local Labour candidates. At the last election in Horsham, the Lib Dems came third, behind the Labour & Conservative candidates. A vote for the Lib Dems or any other minor party only risks the chances of the Tories winning here.
