Debs Miles at Labour South East Conference

Debs Miles, a delegate from Horsham today spoke to Labour’s South East conference about education, an incredibly important issue facing people in Horsham.

Debs Miles:

“The IFS says that schools in England are facing the biggest fall in per-pupil spending in 30 years, down by 8 per cent in real terms. It’s time for change.

We need to stop this Tory government from “pursuing its own vanity projects” at the expense of our children’s already under-funded schools.

We must campaign to halt any expansion of grammar schools and to invest the funds where they are really needed.

I’ve had enough of the Tories running our education service into the ground.

Join with me to campaign for a socialist government, led by Jeremy Corbyn, which will care for our public services, care for our children’s future and care for society as a whole.”
